NewStar Town is an animal-puppet project with a unique charm. These self-contained stories are entertaining, yet educational; they depict, among other things, everyday happenings in the lives of three good friends, with a focus on current issues affecting youngsters everywhere.

The themes explored in NewStar Town range from schooling to home life, and from the world of work to the world of computers, with many stops in between. Presented with creativity and imagination, the stories radiate good humor and warmth, and will engage parents and children alike.
The show is digitally produced, and features large-scale indoor sets occupying thousands of square meters of space. The series’ animal puppets are crafted by master artisans in the field, and professional actors bring their characters to life with gusto.

NewStar Town is an animated series designed especially for children from 3 to 10 years old. It features the exploits of friends Daniel the Dog, Kerl the Crocodile, and Peter the Pig—all while exploring their relationships with each other, and with their families, too. Troublesome moments in the lives of the three are treated with a generous helping of humor, moving audiences to both laugh and learn at the same time.
NewStar Town itself is a modern community populated by a variety of lively animal residents. A well-established town, in it one will find a school, a hospital, a police station, a TV station, and other typical local entities as well. The town is a model of harmonious urban living, with the series highlighting the ups and downs of the children of three clans: the Dog Family, the Crocodile Family, and the Pig Family.
The Dog Family is boisterous and full of laughter; the Crocodile Family is more refined, but not without a sense of humor; and the Pig Family is a simple and upright lot, possessing certain traits of both the other families.
