Chicken Stew is a colorful and fast-paced animated series whose time-honored theme—the eternal chase—is given a zany spin.

Our story doggedly follows one of the most enduring struggles in the annals of barnyard-animal history: chicken versus weasel. Chicken Stew gives viewers a peek at the exploits of three independent-minded chickens who set out from Funny Farm to travel the world in search of adventure—and to escape the continuous threat of capture by two dastardly weasels on their trail!

These chickens may pursue largely different interests during quiet times; but when under attack from the pair of dim-yet-determined weasel brotherss, they all bring laser-focus to the business of dispatching their tormentors. Not surprisingly, due to their ingenuity and "pluck", poultry triumphs over evil every time.

Small Fry, Free Range and Uncle Wattles are the easy-going chicken trio who once lived on the Funny Farm. Not far from the farm, a giant junkyard was home to the sneaky pair of weasels known as Glutton and Slim. These old boys, when not at war with each other, raided the Farm with one hare-brained scheme after another in a luckless pursuit of the elusive hot chicken dinner.

But there comes a time in every peace-loving chicken's life when the threat of being double-dipped and golden-fried demands action—and so the three residents of the Funny Farm boldly chart a course for far-flung, weasel-free territories throughout the globe! From wind-swept desert to snowcapped mountain, this daring team has a splendid time seeing the sights… But soon enough, they are shocked to find that Slim and Glutton have somehow managed to keep pace with them in a predatory tango now stretching across every major time zone on earth.

Small Fry: Diminutive bookworm, intrepid PC gamer. Keeps a cool head in the face of danger. Small Fry seldom speaks; this clever little chick tends to let her anvils, dynamite bundles, and strategically-placed furniture do the talking.

Uncle Wattles: A big, scruffy layabout, this rooster fancies himself a martial arts master of rare gifts. He reels off whoppers about having won matches with the improbable "Flying-Egg Fist" technique…but doesn't happen to remember where or when he did so.

Free Range: Though highly deferential toward Uncle Wattles, the brave, no-nonsense Free Range is a different breed of fowl. He meets the weasel foe head-on, and never entertains the possibility of defeat.

Slim: The older half of the weasel duo, and "the brains of the outfit"—all things being relative. This irascible sneak-thief's lifelong quest: to finally savor the delights of chicken for the very first time. And he'll try every plot he can hatch in order to make that happen.

Glutton: Slim's younger, even-less-clever brother. This short, round, dedicated chicken-chaser is driven by the goal of whipping up the finest poultry-based cuisine in the county. Though he ultimately fails in his quest to snare a chicken, he does, in time, become an excellent chef.

Chicken Stew's target audience is children between the ages of 5 and 10. In this tale, our fine feathered friends from the Funny Farm find their days regularly disrupted by Glutton and Slim, junkyard-dwelling weasels with a yen for fricassee. The wily duo has been mandated to continue the family tradition of making a meal of every chicken they see; it is worth noting, however, that no family member has managed to grab a chicken for four generations. In light of this humiliating record, Glutton and Slim will stop at nothing to realize their lofty chicken-filled dreams.

And so, in a new spin on a classic struggle, the hunt for the Funny Farm Trio propels Slim and Glutton from the junkyard to the far reaches of the planet. From South America's jungles to the African desert—the global chicken chase is on!
